|  | | | I've explored this place a few times, but this was a first with the camera. I've struggled to find any information on it until today. I finally was able to dig up a little background history.
This school was built in 1927. It's been abandoned since 1997. The building was sold in 2001 to a company that hoped to convert the space to house luxury condominiums. To the best of my knowledge the building is actually on the market again. Can't say that I'm surprised.
Most of the school has been cleared of tables, chairs, papers, etc, however, some of the classroom chalkboards are still covered in the daily lesson plans from the late 90s. There's broken glass almost everywhere as well as many tags that seem to be gang related. There's also some higher quality graffiti as well. Overall a pretty fun explore.
Also not the greatest composition in these pictures, but I was in a rush to make a flight.

The fisheye sucks for comp, but I was in a rush and kinda just said fuck it.

I usually don't like fisheye or b&w but #5 is awesome. Nicely done.

Thanks. The composition was funky, and I realized after the shot that my iso was too high hence the black and white. Definitely happy with how it turned out.
