I really want to get back out here before we start getting more rains; this was the 2nd spot I ever explored specifically for the urban decay:

It was intense; I remember having to scramble away from at least 4 or 5 oncoming trains too O_O

I took my kids out there. At one point we heard a train whistle but since we didn't see anything we started to walk along the train bridge across the creek. That's when a train appeared. I only had time to yell "Train! Jump!" and the three of us jumped off the bridge. Fortunately we were not over the water and landed in the marshy area nearby.

Whoa! We always talk about the whole 'Stand By Me' situation happening on that bridge! Luckily you guys made it out the way but damn!

I assume you mean the great america way? When we saw the train we jumped into the brush then on our way back on of my exploring buddies "mooned" the train nothing came of it though.

Yea, I've been that way, super far walk but there's parking not too far and you can just start walking and not really need to worry about people seeing you for a while

We were crouching down by a building but still in sight as a train passed and the conductor blew his whistle as he drove passed us and waved haha

This was my third trip out here, and pgathrillers first.

Here's adding to the pics from our trip:

1. Lol, the panorama app squished the train.

2. Though they've probably only been here for months, these bottles look old as the town ...

Great pics, Evilbunny and Guybrush! How do you guys find bottles and bones and magazines? All I ever see are spray cans and beer cans .

Never had an issue with the trains coming from the South side-you can see them coming for miles and they sound their horn when they are in the area. Also you can take parallel trails until the last half mile or so.

2. What happened to Girafa anyways?
