Whitby drain

Not very exciting but it's the largest diameter drain that I've found out this way and it's not a bad spot to try out some light painting. It's a back-breaker, if I had to guess I'd say it's 1600mm.

After about 100m you end up at a manhole and a retaining wall. I'm assuming past that it just gets fed by small lines.

Pictures were done using multiple filtered flashlights. No colours added in post.

I really like the first shot actually. Didn't think a B&W shot of an outfall could look so nice, well done. Sucks to hear there's nothing bigger then that out there, I never do back-breakers. Guess you'll have to make your way to Toronto for the big ones.

The sign said "Anybody caught trespassin will be shot on sight"
So I jumped on the fence and I yelled at the house,
"Hey! What gives you the right?" http://www.flickr.com/photos/evman/

Thank you!! That first shot took a few attempts because I kept over exposing the centre. #1 and #5 are my favourites.

Theres a few out here I wanna check out that look like they might have potential. But all of the awesome drains seem to be west of the don. I hate back-breakers too, the fun goes away pretty quick due to the discomfort.

I'm dying to check out some awesome T.O. drains! I'll make the trip soon.
