Random Road Trip Exploring!

So I just got back from a really fun trip with my sis. We traveled to see some bands and on the way there/back we did some exploration as time would allow. A few surprises and no-go's, but overall it was an awesome outing.

Thanks to Punchy for a tip on the Drive In. And thanks to travelocity for having us randomly stay right across from one of these awesome spots. Hope everyone else is having good explores lately.

Nice! A road trip can't get much better than when you are in good company, music is the motivator, and there are adventure-stops along the way!
Glad you two returned safe and with some fun shots!

That looked like a great trip! All the pics are great but I especially like #4 and #11. That spiderweb in the caboose is very cool and it goes without saying that is prime real estate in #11. ;) Nice work!

Put a bench out there in the front yard and you'd be right at home.

Would the house and trains happen to be in G-ville???

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.

Wow, very cool to see that drive-in again. I haven't been there in at least ten years, and I really love how the screen looks now. Is the ticket booth still around?

The screen looked very pixelated to me, it was cool. Yes, the ticket booth is still there, along with the projection room in pic 2, and the restroom/concession area. Ticket stand is locked up tight and I think used occasionally for a sporting event back behind the property.

I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their views.

How'd I miss this?
Roadtrips are the best ...

Science flies you to the Moon. Religion flies you into tall buildings.
