| | Gigantic Mill < on 7/21/2013 7:30 AM >
| | | So I was driving home from Idaho a couple days ago, and somewhere between Boise and The Dalles there was a giant factory complex of some kind up on a hill to the right of the highway, looked completely abandoned. Thing is I've completely forgotten where along the route it was, I'm sure it would be an amazing explore though. Anyone from that region know what I'm talking about? Been there before? I really wanted to stop but I was just too damn tired.

| | | Boise to The Dalles is a pretty long stretch, but you're probably talking about that ^ it's about 90 miles out of Boise.

| | | Haha. My cat doesn't like him because he's constantly trying to scare her (she's easily startled). But she's skittish around people she doesn't know too well.

| | | That place is on my "To Do List" Shows up way too faintly in Google Earth to even tell where to start, so it'll be a fun little adventure. haha. Hopefully before the winter hits I'll make the journey. Anyone got more pics of the place? [last edit 8/5/2013 4:24 AM by Rob91DA - edited 1 times]

| | | It's been slowly eaten away at by scrappers and maybe a part-time demo squad. I've got loads of pictures of it from 2009. This is the only shot I have posted publicly:

| | | Anyplace I can park a Semi to check it out? The shoulder of the interstate is not a legal option.

| | | Last time I looked at the aerial, there is a small highway between the freeway and it. I'm sure you could just use the shoulder at some point. I plan on taking my truck for more options.

| | | I swore I had a picture of that place from 2011 when I drove up to Vancouver but no luck finding it. Looks like a blast though.
