|  | | | Hi everyone. I've been a lurker in the forums for a while and this is my first post. I have been into Urbex for a while and I live in the Shreveport, Louisiana area. I have had my eye on the old abandoned brewery (big red building) next to I-49 for some time, but I have been unsuccessful in gaining entry. There was clearly (at one point) evidence of a homeless population inside the building, but it's locked up tight. I was wondering if any Shreveport area explorers have info about how to get inside. I'm very excited to be part of this site and hope to meet others interested in the decaying environment. You can check out some of my photography at aaronnelmsphotography.tumblr.com. Sorry I can't help with any info on the brewery (I'm in the Dallas area) but good luck to you. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

you can use the tools here to post pic in a thread or in your own thread by clicking the "image" icon here and placing your copied image url in the center of it like this: [ eimg] url code [ /eimg] (but without the spaces).

Oh, and howdy! I'm long time lurker-turned-recent poster also!
My first visit, that whole concrete dock was scattered with light bulb shards. We stepped on some and the door creaked open a few inches so we got the heck out of there. It was during the daytime. That was 2 years ago.
Last visit was this past summer. there was a fresh hobo camp set up in there but no hobo seen. We thought we heard one though so we didnt stay long. Usually parked under the bridge a little bit behind one of the concrete pillars. there is a concrete flat dock? out front of it. Every time I have been the door has not been locked or even closed all the way. If it is locked up then it must be a recent thing. I havent been to the upper levels, just the ground floor.
