There is salvation in the decayed...
| | | No. 9 needs Insurance...? < on 6/28/2013 2:50 PM >
| | | Here is a collection of pictures of two different days of exploring. One is a well known mill in Greensboro, and the other is a well known Campus in Greensboro. Rest assured I will find a way into the Campus, one day.... No. 9 1.

I don't know yet. I am buying a cheap voltmeter for the return trip.

I don't need it to measure that high, just need to see if it is on at all.

| | | Great set. From what I could tell when I was there, the fence was live, and it is deffinitley alarmed (we found the security panel and it was armed). There is another building that is pretty big and cool on that campus that is accessable. Plus there is a waffle house 5 minutes away which might warrant a return trip itself.
My sincerest apologies for any photography sins that I may commit, but you must understand that I have no idea what I'm doing. |

well by the model shown in the pictures it cant be more than 600v. due to the fact that it would discharge on the fence next to it. And if the guy that installed it was cheap he probably got one that runs a 110v power output.

| | | Again, cool photos! Always love to see what you're up to. I walked that perimeter a good while back and I do not see a feasibly safe, "low-key" way in. The grounds are cool to wander though.

the owner is probably just trying to scare the shit out of all the poeple that would attempt to get in, besides if it really was a 7kv zapper it would cost a shitload to keep it running for extended periods of time. witch brings me back to the owner being cheap part. plus even if you would try to get in, just bring sets of jumper cables with you. connect the cables (more than one set is recommended) to the extremities of the wires blocking your entry then snip the electric fence wires in between the jumper cables and get in. always bring a set of thick rubber gloves just in case. rule number 1 , be safe. if its sketchy leave it the fuck alone.
