| | Three hundred!!! < on 6/22/2013 11:27 PM >
| | | I had been eyeing the new condo development on Front/John for quite awhile now and finally got the opportunity to make a go at it the other night. Being a Friday, it was ridiculously busy and took awhile to be able to go in the way I did, but once I was in it was easy to get to the stairs and begin my ascent. Passing the 2nd floor, where the office is, I heard someone cough and then start talking, seems security was lazing it up in the office that night. On I went, up and up until arriving at the start of the crane. The crane was a few levels from the top roof and climbing it wasn't too bad, minus the section where about 3 platforms were missing and instead it was just one long ass ladder, fun! Topping out I was met with an incredible view of the city in every direction...on that note..here are the pics from the night! Here she be, ready for the taking!

| | | Those are some of the crispiest photos I've ever seen on UER. Amazing! Somehow I don't think that's a stock 18-55mm.

| | | I get excited every time I see your name beside a new thread now, just knowing I'm in for phenomenal shots. The opener with the CN reflection in the building is just gorgeous, but "Angular" is truly the most breathtaking shot for me in this collection. Something about the thin orange line of combined lights cutting across the horizon and the greyness of the sky. I just can't believe how amazing your skill is for producing such fine works of art. And both you and RNRF succeed strongly with those dangling leg shots - I'm not shitting you, I can feel it from the knees down sitting at the computer; this weird, vertigo sensation as soon as I hit those shots. It is amazing! I mean, I'm not even there, it is just a picture! And yet, there's a definite physical response. [last edit 6/23/2013 3:24 AM by Ground State - edited 1 times]

| | | Every time I see rooftopping photos I'm like "I could so do that" but then there are these 'legs over the edge' photos and I get sweaty palms and vertigo just looking at them. Thanks for sharing the views from on high that many of us will never see (especially those of us that fear heights).

...What??? A great gallery. I'd love to see more pictures of the crane itself, especially looking down on the ladder. How many floors above the roof level did you have to climb?
