|  | | | This is the first time I have ever met up with anyone from this site. I had the pleasure of exploring with Hootie, and Punchy. We had a rather eventful day, we got two explore two abandoned mills, a school, an old motor lodge, and we discovered a few places weren't so abandoned. I can't wait to meet up with this guy and gal again, and I'm looking forward to meeting many more of you.

Mill #1. Pretty sure crownand and I were standing right next to each other when we shot our exterior shots, but here's what it looks like in color.
2.
Mostly trashed and empty, although there was some interesting stuff here and there. This is the first floor.

Possibly my favorite part--the power plant at the back of the building.

2nd floor.

3rd floor.

Off to mill #2, which is pretty much right next door to mill #1, although we had to cross a huge open area where a big chunk of mill #2 once stood before being torn down.

My take on the chute.

Possibly the craziest thing we saw all day. It looked like the entire contents of a dentist's office had been dumped here.

We saw lots of calendars, and every single one of them was from 1996.

We actually went to two schools, although the first one was just a burned out shell. This is from school #2.

All in all, it was one kick ass day. crownand and hootie, we will definitely do it again.

About time is right! Hah. Nice to see your pictures from that day Punchy. I enjoy all of your shots, and appreciate the "wide open" shots you enjoy taking. Hopefully through your busy summer schedule we can go out another day.

I think it's all still there, just moved around a little. That second chair was there but had been knocked over and was laying on its side.
