| | Exploring the "Enchanted Forest" near Baltimore, Maryland < on 5/27/2013 11:41 PM >
| | | I visited this spot w/ my long time friend Kat who lives near this area just yesterday (May26, 2013) Apparently it was a kind of outdoor nature trail/ amusement part for the 6 and under set. Accessing the area required a climb down an overgrown, muddy hill and a squeeze through a broken fence. Unfortunately Kat could not venture down due to a bad knee but I darted down for a quick look. Even though the area is not 'dangerous' or anything of that sort, I didn't want to leave my friend at the car for any length of time so this was a VERY quick exploration (5 - 10 minutes tops) Basically, I spent a minute or so inside the 'tent' looking building, crossed a questionable small wooded bridge and went into the 'magic castle' for 3 minutes or so before going back. Kat liked the pics and the excursion was brief but entertaining! Neither structure had anything of note inside and the photo of the android looking creature was undoubtedly some sort of Wally World welcome type figure at one time.

| | | Needs full explore. Good on you for not leaving someone behind. And... add a space or two between pics or code. all in all, this looks like a very unusual place.
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

| | | If this is the Enchanted Forest I'm aware of, I thought it was on someone's farm? That it had been moved from its original location.

| | | They moved many of the smaller, more portable figures to a farm but a few of the larger attractions, like the castle and gingerbread house are still in the original location.
Buildings have two natural enemies- water, and bears. |

You are right, my friend. I got a bit rushed and posted it in the wrong location because I am from Michigan.
