Backstory:

visiting this beautiful place with my friend (pic 6) and was really trying to capture not only the decay this place has undergone but also the industrial nature of the building that once was.

great photos, I take it you shoot with film? what kind of camera are you shooting with? I like that you also marked what settings you used, I have done that as well with my film shooting.

Everyday is an exploration! Go out and do something new today :D

I thought you didn't have ISO with film?

RE shots: They are really nice. They almost seem like abstracts which is cool.

Yes you do. It is as important as with digital if not more so.

Thanks, it is all digital actually! You make me blush calling it out as film though.

I was going for more of an abstract feel with the shoot, the whole place had a very eerie feel to it because it was more or less one giant room, so every time you walked your foot steps echoed off the walls.

The digital ISO is based off the film ISO speed which was originally the size of the silver halide particles (and thus their sensitivity to light)in black and white and later color films.
