Hey thanks everyone, glad you dig it. Most of the footage was shot with a Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon T2i 550D.. Some of the carnival footage and the dead dolls on the floor, in the cage and in the pool were shot with a Canon HV30 with a 35mm Letus adapter. Some of this footage is 5-6 years old.. it had just been sitting in a folder on my external HD.. been waiting for the right time to use it. All in all I think it turned out pretty cool and I'm excited to do another short commercial for anomalous soon!

Nice! I assumed it would be MKIII work. Excellent footage! I love the scenes from ferris wheel! Now for the rotation of the wheel did you do a time lapse of it moving in the wind, or was it active?

It was active... it was at a local carnival that came into town. I just set up my camera and tripod and recorded it when there was nobody on it. I then brought it into after effects for color treatment and then also ran it thru twixtor to alter the timing. I shot that with an HV30/35mm Letus adapter. having the DSLR is great.. but man I got some great footage with that old HV30 setup, kinda miss it.

I don't know if I could ever go the HV30 route... since my shots have so much lens variation. But I hope to get either a 1DC or a RED eventually...or at least a BlackMagic.
