From the outside, this chapel doesn't look impressive, but oh boy, when I climbed in thru the hole in the wall...

These are awesome. I really like the muted pallet. The vignetting really ads to the feel of the images, but may be a little to deep into the frame (was it added while editing or an artifact of your lens?). 1, 2, and 9 are my faves.

The vignetting was applied in post production, shots were made with 14 mm prime, and most are hdrs made out of 5 till 8 raw images.

I don't care for the post processing much. But all the shots are well composed. And the place is phenomenal!

Awesome site, not keen on the HDR stylez in the shots though.

Fantastic place - looks like an underground Roman colosseum.

Is that a chapel or some sort of playhouse?

I think I would actually prefer these with more shadows, the HDR is flattening them out a bit too much IMO. Amazing location you found though.

Great shots, but I'd process them totally different. I'd kill off the HDR for a start. I think the vignette is a bit much it draws my eyes to it more than anything else in the shot, I think this is due to the muted tones with the heavy vignette. They look really well composed though. I'd love to see the same shots with far less processing.

I always like seeing shots from this location.

Regarding your pics, they are good. I would prefer a bit more contrast.

Here's one of mine from there:

the hdr is killing the images imo. Great composition. I'd do some different kinds of post processing with them..definitely bring out the shadows more and those reds in the balconies and stairwells.

I think the vignetting is a bit heavy-handed and I'd diminish it a bit. Are the green and brown colors natural or did you post-process them in? The pic has a Euro feel due to those colors and the vignetting.

Yeah, there's really no arguing with Phrenzee. He pretty much nailed it.

magnificent location.....the composition of the shots is spot on....i would agree with the other comments, though - - i do not like the hdr effect on the shots - i think it flattens them and the muting is heavy-handed, for my personal taste anyway.
