|  | | | These are places I found while I was out exploring the two abandoned schools from an earlier post. I can't wait to go back and explore these places some more!
This first place I stumbled upon while driving around near one of the abandoned schools. I was shocked to drive up on this place. There are actually two separate warehouses next to one another. I was able to partially explore this place, but couldn't venture in to far because I forgot my flashlight. I plan on heading back here when I return from my vacation.

This next warehouse is next to the one in the previous pictures. I didn't have enough time in the day to go into this one at all, but am looking forward to going back. Anyone care to join me in exploring the two?

The next set of pictures is from an abandoned school in northern NC. The place burnt down in 2012, but I still wanted to check out the remains. Nothing worth making the drive for, but if you're in the area it is worth stopping by.

This fourth place I found on google maps while searching for places near the schools. This place is abandoned but I don't know if I will be able to access it. It is sealed up tight, and I am pretty sure it is alarmed. There were no signs of security, but I am going to have to do more scouting and research before attempting this one.

This last place I also found on google maps. It is is the process of being demolished. I also didn't get to venture to far into it because of my lack of light. I wasn't too thrilled with myself for leaving it at home.

| | | | On your first set of pictures, that is an old textile mill not a warehouse. In it you will find the remains of an intense Ice It! war. There are hundreds of boxes of old as seen on tv products that they never shipped out and many remained unopened. A word of caution: the field all around that place and the stairs that you take to get on the roof (the roof is awesome btw) are covered in ticks and poison ivy. I'd be down to go back and explore those places as I didn't get to see the whole mill.

I am wrong here or does it seem that south of Virginia there is more to see with less hassles.
