I'm new to the forums, and fairly new to URBEX in general, so I wanted to say hello and post a few photos I've taken from recent trips out.

First of all, welcome to the forum.

The object next to the shotgun shells sort of under the box looks to possibly be a 1911 magazine.
What's the story on that place?

wow, good eye. It was an old house that someone's grandparents had lived in, and has been left empty for quite some time. There were high school annuals from the 30s. The bathrooms were interesting as well, as the toilets were not like modern toilets. They didn't have the typical rectangle tank, and no bowl, instead the opening went straight down. (I'll see if I have a picture of them)

They several several shelves of really old books, including some Nat Geos from the 50s/60s

The joint in #15 looks quite familiar ...
Is this one of the many houses off of US50, in the Western expanses of Loudoun?

Yep, it's off of Rt 50, just before you get to Aldie. I didn't bother going in, it looked to be pretty gutted, and doubted it was worth going upstairs for. I thought the outside was kinda neat looking.

Groovy.
I thought so.
It's by the "Manure: $15/ scoop" sign.
I used to drive by that just about daily.
Never bothered to go in ...
If you go another 30 mins NorthWest, there are a few cool things to see.
BIG $$$ in Western Loudoun ... richest county in the US.
Not a whole lot of notable abandonments.

Haha, it definitely didn't look worth it. Here's a shot from the backdoor, and through the opening in the front door

thanks! That one is one of my more favorites of that house. I think the black and white suits it.

Thanks. Yeh, there's several buildings in that little compound area. I didn't get to the last house the time I went.
