What a shame. Virtually all of the rides were destroyed beyond salvage because they sat in brackish water for weeks after Hurricane Katrina. If you make it out to the area, you'll see why...Six Flags NOLA was basically built in a swamp near Lake Pontchartrain, which backed up and flooded the whole 9th ward with salt water.
