|  | | | Every now and then it happens, and in the wee hours of Sunday morning, it happened again.
That moment when I was still asleep, well before my eyes ever opened, I realized the course of the day was set. It didn't even matter that I had no input in the matter and there was already one less hour on the clock. My eyes popped open with the kind of urgency, that I knew if I blew it off, I would regret it.
So there I was, like some idiot on remote control; pitch dark outside, wide awake, dressed, respirator, mag and camera, in the car, through the fence and B-line for a building I hadn't explored yet, through the offices, down the stairs and there it was...Like Freakin' Christmas!
Danger. Confined Space.
FINALLY! What a rush. After months and months of Sundays looking for this door. I was alone, scared and sooo excited, you guys know the high.
That said, this is what I had been looking for all this time.

It reminds me of some of the steam tunnels I've been in, but very old, and the pipes look too small for steam...

| | | | Following hunches has helped me find some places, I just drive sometimes and for a couple hours. Driving backroads I've never been on, and for some reason, I pretty much drive to where the road ends or further... Because I gotta know whats around that corner.
