That is a nice site- there's tons of information on it. I do wish, however, that it was organized a bit differently, maybe with the states/locations in a denser text list which links to an individual page for each site. The index page has the links located a bit sparsely, requiring too much scrolling, and I'm on dial-up, so loading a page with 50+ pictures is a bit of a pain.

That having been said, it's still pretty nice; I found a number of airports near me that I'd never heard of, and he obviously spent a lot of time gathering the historical data as well as terraserver and other aerials; the modern photos showing crappy housing developments loosely following the runway patterns are my personal favorites.

thanks for the link!

Wow, that site has three of my photographs on it, from back in 2000... in the New York City/Queens Airport section. (The snow covered ones of the old hangars)

Pretty weird seeing your own photos on another site! Quite flattering. (they were taken from my contribution to the Forgotten-NY website several years ago)

Pretty comprehensive history of the old Flushing airport.. nice job on that site.
