Elementry School in eads tn

I live 10 miles from this abandoned elementry school. I have always wanted to go in but its proximity to a busy road has prevented me.Also the heavy chains around the door>LOL. Well the last few times i have passed it i have noticed that the front door is open. Someone has removed the chains.
Well i was wondering if anyone had any pictures or has explored the school?
thanks

I've seen it before, but never stopped. I was wondering the same thing, but nothing turned up. Maybe one night I'll get some friends together and we'll go check this site out. I haven't been out there in months, but last time I saw it ir was pretty grown up.

Since when was "Eads TN" specific location information? That's an entire town, not a specific address. "A door" was mentioned, not a specific point of entry. There are plenty of more specific locations in the public DB for that matter. May as well not even have regional boards by this logic, as "mid-atlantic" might give someone a clue where something is.

I agree. We might as well just post, "Here are some pics of this place located somewhere within the continental U.S." to avoid being yelled at.

Though "continental U.S." may be too specific for some.

Eads is a really small place. As such it took me less than 5 minutes to find the place.

It's still owned by the Shelby County School district. I'd imagine they have no future plans for it, except possible demolition. That might happen after they merge with Memphis City schools next year.

It's like wearing a condom man. She probably doesn't have an STD but why take the chance. This stuff is the same way. The chances of increased security, scrappers, etc from a post like this is pretty low, but why risk it? Other than it feels good

I agree.
I'm not saying we should openly post location information or anything like that.

Eads is a real place? Damn, thought it was just a typo.

I visited it recently and there's absolutely nothing they can do with it other than demolition, and it's highly questionable if they'd deem it worth the cost.

It's beyond repair - caved-in floors, ceiling falling in, etc. Had a pretty good scare by a vulture that jumped out from behind a divider in one room.

I'll post some pics soon.
