Secret Floor Under Graffiti Garage

Sorry if my last post came across as winey.

So, last night I was walking around Tacoma, and I wound up behind the graffiti garage on Commerce street.

The buildings are 3 stories tall. The bottom floor fronts on Commerce and has been made into parking garages, and the graffiti garage is on the third floor, fronting on Broadway. The second floor is blocked off completely, but there is a way to access the second floor of the middle section of the building.

[Redacted as per posting rules.]

Sorry for the poor photo quality, all I had at the time was my iPhone.

Looks interesting, but empty. Wonder if there are other partitioned off areas waiting to be seen.

You "redacted it as per posting rules" but you show a fucking map of where EXACTLY IT IS???

What the FUCK did you redact, I have to wonder.

When I read this all I can think of is some creepy guy hiding out in a old building waiting to kidnap the helpless explorer that followed his map.

Hello,

As others have said, it is good etiquette and better sense to not publicly post exact locations and identifying information in threads. This type of thread especially, is public to anyone who cares to look -- including search engines. It is best to be discreet and not attract attention to sites by security, cops, vandals or scrapers.

I liked the first set you linked in your into post -- dont be discouraged and get out there and do more good exploring!

I suppose I just don't see the POINT of redacting anything (removal of the name of the building?) if you're going to show it's address and map of it anyway.

It seems like you'd either leave ALL that info, or none of it, not half of it; if you're trying not to out the location.

I'm still puzzling over this.

@duckie, I lol'd when I read that =P

If this thread was in an episode of cops, it would have already gotten tased.

Maybe the reason nothing has changes is that he left the site and never came back. His first post and all he got was a bunch of people dissing him. Way to be welcoming and supportive of a new person who was excited to post but did not follow the rules.

I am still new here and not happy with some of the snide comments directed towards my newbie postings. Just a thought.

perhaps he should have taken the time to think about whether posting exact details of his ILLEGAL activities on an open and public forum was a good idea. or perhaps he could have done what any intelligent, slightly observant person would do and read the rules before doing anything, that way he could knowingly choose to break them, rather than just being completely ignorant.

just a thought.

Voted most likely to fall from great hights...

I wouldn't have given a damn if he DID post the name of a parking garage. I just don't see the point in massive lack of common sense. (ie: removing some identifying info then posting an exact map).

There aren't a whole lot of people here who didn't get their feelings hurt when they were n00bs. I made a mistake about something I said when I was a n00b, got slammed for it, and didn't come back for a week. boo hoo.

This isn't a sewing circle, it's a forum for serial trespassers. Could you see someone who gets immediately offended on an INTERNET FORUM FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES having to spend any time in jail after getting caught doing such activities?

Geez, this isn't a damn preschool.
