Out exploring the Eastside today

Went out and saw a couple places I've been meaning to visit lately. Finally found the time. Was getting late and didn't wanna mess with my speedlight, but thankfully the on-camera did the trick.

Awesome pictures! I was out there two days ago with a friend and it was really neat.

Nice shoots. I love the red paint on some of the walls, somewhat blood like. I even know where that barn is.

Haha, yeah, kinda creepy there at the base, and kept hearing noises, although I don't believe in ghosts or anything like that. I kept expecting hobos though. Place is certainly decaying fast compared to photos I saw from just a year ago.

As for the Barn, It's a shame it's gone the way it has, I wonder if it was abandoned or if it was a right of way deal due to the freeway.

My guess with the barn is a family where the kids have grown up and gone away and the need for it has fallen. Then left to return to nature. It is like, something changed and it was just left as is. Cans of paint and a partially painted areas suggests a sudden change.

I do not think it is a right of way issue since there is new construction close by in the same 'coverage' area.

You could be right but it is fun to guess by looking at the effects.

Yeah, I am guessing if it was right of way, they would have leveled it and cleared the lot at least. It's strange they left a horse trailer and 2 intact structures... Very odd, but cool.

Can't wait for another free day to go check out some more places, damn work keeps getting in the way of my fun. haha.

The level of destruction in your photos is amazing!
