| | Going higher and wider! A return visit to the L! < on 11/22/2012 3:50 PM >
| | | What feels like ages ago, I made my way over to the L Tower and made a run at the crane. It wasn't terribly high at the time, maybe 20 stories? I have been watching it with interest and finally got a chance to get back up to the top. It's a long climb up to the 55th where the bridge across the gap to the crane awaits..was too windy to get anything off the crane but the view was awesome! Think I will have to make another trip before it's finished! The base view

| | | Nice shots! Ive gotta start taking more pictures of the actual crane when I go out, not just the scenery. I love the shot where you're just chillen on the bridge between the crane/building, I was actually more scared crossing that than climbing up to where the winch is on the crane (above the main platform/boom) Awesome overall man!

| | | Thanks guys! Hungarian, as I stood there I could feel the bridge move little by little as the crane shifted, a little unnerving indeed. The legs today aren't as bad as I thought they would be, seeing as when I got back down to street level they were shaking a little lol.

| | | What do you mean it was too windy to get anything off the crane? Long exposures are awesome on a weathervaning crane!
