Surprisingly google doesn't turn up much information on the place, but I asked locally and it was a natural history museum/planetarium back in the day, before they relocated to a newer location. I believe I took a couple trips to this one when I was much younger, but I don't remember. The building is only feet away from the road but because of the angle and foliage its not easy to see. Looks like its been broken into several times but whoever owns it now has boarded the doors up again, we'll see if I can get inside eventually. | | | Ya, I was pleasantly surprised that all those tinted windows are still intact. I was able to snap the one shot of the interior through one of the very few non-tinted panes near the front entrance.

| | | Pretty awesome! Looks like it could've been a reasearch center of some sort instead of a museum! Hope you can get in soon.
