| | | This place has been abandoned ever since I started attending FSU. They hold a class it in, only in one lecture room though. The building is starting to become trashed, which is sad to see. There are kids who have gone through the basement level, and the top level, with cans of spray paint and tried to to be. They wrote shit like "kill babies" and other dumb shit. There is also a room where a kid has showcased his creepy artwork. This room has also been spray painted. The main problem with this building is that FSU did not want to spend the money to fix it, so they are letting it decay until they get all of the stuff that is worth anything, out of there. Ceiling tiles are swollen and broken, paints is broken, same with chemistry equipment. It is only a matter of time until this building is knocked down. Enjoy. http://theundauntedlifestyle.com 1.

Actually it's not a safe. It's like a kiln-like thing. The building behind us is the library on campus.

| | | Mr. Blue I went to your website an LOVED the pics of the bottles and jars. So his was clearly a science/chem building. Any idea what the kiln was for? (Kiln shot is a great pic, too!)

Yeah, it is an abandoned biological sciences building, before they built a new one on campus. I have no idea what the kiln was for. It is in the ground floor of the building so I'm guessing it was used for heat treating bacterial samples.

| | | Thanks! Inspired me to do some research on the building. Looks like it will be a parking lot by next summer.

Funny that you mention that. The state started doing sonar scans of the ground to see how many bodies were in the graveyard. They started digging the bodies up so the place is a little too hot right now. I'll probably make a night trip to check it out but the main campus has not been touched yet. Next Festicle I'm driving back up to meet you guys and do some nice 'splorin. [last edit 11/5/2012 3:07 PM by Mr.Blue - edited 1 times]
