|  | | | My favorite place to explore in Tulsa is an old Chevrolet dealership. I call it the green monster. This weekend I was out doing nothing so I decided to stop by. There were two cars in the parking lot when I pulled in, which is not normal. It was sealed up tight as I expected, but I did get a couple of shots through a broken window. I have tons of interior shots from previous explores and I have been narrowing them down for another post. The cars that were there had both stopped to take photographs. One was a mom and her middle school age daughter and friend, using the auto ramp to the roof as a backdrop for random iphone pics or something. The other was a ballerina posing in front of some broken windows in one of the old garage bays. Here is what I saw.
1. Chiseled Chevy Welcome stone at front door.
2. Old cabinets.

4. Hairway to Steven
5. The Downward Spiral
6. Penthouse Suite
7. Birds Eye View
8. Laundry Day?
9. Does she know bums pee there?

| | | | I agree with the Captain about #4, a subtle tweak to the vibrance on that pic and it'll look awesome. As it is, it's got some really good composition and contrast in it.

I see a lot of pictures like this at the dance studio I go to. It must be the "in" thing with kids these days. A way for them to show off in their high school yearbook that although they're a classically trained ballet dancer they're still "edgy". Although, honestly, it is sort of a welcome break from the traditional Nutcracker-esque scenes.....
Nice set. Looks like a kick-ass place.
