Salut Tout Le Monde,

I've been trecking around the site and noticed there doesn't seam to be that many people from France. I've been in Paris for since January 2010 and I've been exploring some cool places near to Paris like the Entrôp de Pantan, La Petite Ceinture and of course le Carrières de Paris, and a few places in Belgique too, like Châtéau Noisy and Dadipark. I was hoping to meet some other French people, and though if there were any on here that we could identify ourselves. I'll start...

Moi = La Cigale.

Thanks Dsankt. I'm well familiar with the Sleepy City site. It's been one great site with some amazing stories and pictures. I first found it through the stories of The Demolition of the Paris Metro. I've not read everything there yet, but I'm enjoying it whenever I do read some.

As for the forum, I did not know about this one. Alors, merci beaucoup.

The best UE Forum in Paris is easily La Plage or Tombe Philibert on a Friday night. Just go there and make friends.

Bonjour mes amis. I'm an American student studying in Paris until December and Im trying to get some exploration in while I'm here. I've been looking into la petite ceinture (and gazing longingly at catacombs pictures), but I'm really not sure where to start over here. How strict/enforced are trespassing laws? What are some places I've gotta check out?

I don't really hate children. I just can't finish a whole one.

Worst case scenario, you get a fine.

The Petite Ceinture is one of my favourite places in Paris. I've been photographing it randomly over the past 4 years and there's just something special about it. Some of the southern parts of it are starting to be transformed into official walking paths and tramways. I would suggest the east first, start in the 12th and work your way up. There's no entrances to them as such, just walk along the track and see where you can pop in.

That can be fun too! But I wouldn't go there alone.
