|  | | | These are from a mill that is now being put back in use. Taken in May. Pretty rad spot and it was hot as balls out 100 degrees. They had golf carts that had power and keys in them... yeah.

Pickling is part of the steel making process. After a pieces of steel is rolled is goes to a Pickle line which involves unwinding the steel and running it through a series of hydrochloric acid tanks and rinse tanks. This removes any excess iron oxide (rust) from the steel and leaves it with a clean surface.
