|  | | | I became a full member today which was the highlight of my day. Thank you to everyone for all the feedback, critiques, support, friendliness, sarcasm, douchebaggery, etcetera.
This thread is just a mix of portraits from people I go exploring with.. and a few selfies. Yes, including my girl, who manages to SOMEHOW GET IN EVERY SHOT.
Cheers UER, I hope to have the opportunity to be able to meet and explore with as many as you as possible. It's looking like I'm going to be sticking to this hobby for a long, long time.

Thank you! It's pretty pathetic that the most exciting part of my day was becoming more important on a forum about walking around dusty buildings. But I guess that's what passion is.

Why? You're still socializing in one way or another, you're still doing some abstract non-arbitrary thing that makes you happy. One of my biggest met goals in life was when I became a moderator at some other large series of forums some time back. I no longer go there but it was the fact that I had my passion, dweeby or not, and excelled at it. It's far from pathetic.
