From my visit to Jaite Paper Mill in Penninsula. Even with the building gone the actual press itself is very interesting.

They demo'd everything but left those rollers just sitting in a field? Cool and strange +1.

Wow, I thought I read they took everything out of there, had I known this was still there, I would have tried to make time to visit when I was in Cleveland this year. Oh well, there's always next year, or maybe this winter if I can swing some extra time off!

They left it there as a kinda historical landmark, and there is a sign with a brief history of the mill on the bikepath that goes by it.

The watertower was my favorite thing there, because you could see it from the top of the hills at brandywine ski resort, and dover lake waterpark that used to be there.

Yeah it's still there. They left the machine with a plack as kind of a monument to Jaite Paper Mill. There is also still a bridge and a couple light posts left. Definitely worth the trip.

I take it these weren't recent? There's also a cool old train bridge over the river, with tracks leading into the mill. For a while there was an army box car on the tracks back there, but it was always padlocked tight.

Some other UE locations nearby were also demolished.

Nope this was from my visit last fall when there was still a hole in the fence to get in. I walk that path every thursday and theres no way of getting in now. Theres still the bridge light posts and that trailer that are just chillin there. I found this house last thursday down the road from it and I was dying to go into it but since I was alone figured it wasn't a great idea. Let me know if you'd be interested in meeting up and going. I also found this giant car cemetery in the middle of the woods it was pretty sweet.

a space or two between the img code lines will make these look much better.

I've been to that house, but I didn't get in. There's a board screwed over the back door, so I didn't want to B&E. There's a cool waterfall right next to it, too. I remember reading somewhere that they plan on renovating it sometime.

How many cars were in the car cemetery? I'd like to check that out.
