seen several in tha area over tha past few years, have yet to figure out what it is. some kinda rain measurement device or something maybe?

any markings on it? looks like a weather station or maybe a gps thing to track movement.....

nope, has no markings. has no antennas of any kind. just a pipe coming out of tha top.

well ive noticed them by water, i seen one last year out by a small pond/swamp and this ones by a creek. so very possible it could be for monitoring tha water or air. also think it could be for the mosquitos since we have such a bad case of tha west nile spreading right now.

The boxes are equipment cases for EPA equipment. Most are monitoring air quality, some are designed for water quality testing as well but have a different configuration.
