A friend of mine from on here (i don't know his screen name off hand) and I went to Lincoln today. We went to the Lincoln regional center first. The northern most building is not in use. We found a window and entered into the basement. I stepped out of the first room and the alarm sounded immediately. We climbed back out and calmly walked to his car and left.

We decided to drive around Lincoln and see what we could find. We found a silo facility that was still in use but nobody was around being later on a Sunday. We spent a couple of hours climbing around and having a look around. It was a good time and we're planning on going back to Lincoln soon to go running around some other silos.

Pictures to follow. B, chime in here so I know your screen name. It's been a while since I've been on here.

Here's the first image. I'll make another post in a few days with all of them. I'm not sure how this will show up since I haven't been on in a long time. If this posts as the annoying type of images, somebody please post the code to make it the not annoying type. Thanks.

Oh howdy! Haha just checkin in, the silo actually turned out to be pretty cool, shame we couldn't go inside! Saw a couple of others out in the distance when we were leaving Lincoln that looked promising, definitely want to make it back out soon!

could be worse...

Man... Not even the mods make it to this corner of UER
I feel like I am in ...well... the great plains ;) Posted by willskith Unfortunately, due to overuse of tonemapping, photography was gradually ruined and now stands with halos.

It's down by the Penitentiary. I'm not sure of the streets.

Have you discovered any other spots in Lincoln? I'm thinking about checking this spot out. How is the security there any hazards? Where is a good point of entrance? I'm new to Lincoln, well new to the mid-west and looking for some spots to check out.

No security at all, we were free to roam around and climb at will. No real hazards. We saw some more silos in Lincoln, I'll give you a shout on our next trip out.
