|  | | | Damn the summer sun rises early!
I drove by this Niagara rurex location a week ago and saw that it did not have much to offer in the way of an exciting explore, but it has some great easterly exposure and a nice historic look. I thought I would try for some sunrise photos, which takes more willpower than I expected! You pretty much need to be out of the house by 5:20 am, and that is IF the sky has promising cloud conditions. It took me 4 days of waking up at 5:00 am and standing at the bedroom window assessing the sky, pissing the wife off to no end, to finally get a morning that seemed suitable. I hope it was worth it. Let me know what you think. Wish I could post them high-res as they sure do loose a lot of good detail through the quick-gallery creator.

15. Wouldn't it be really interesting to have seen a place like this when it "went"? I mean, I wouldn't want to be in it obviously, but I look at this pic and wonder whether the collapse was a slow progression or whether it suddenly gave way and came crashing down in an eye-blink.

Do you recognize it? It was that predominantly empty little location we bypassed on the way out to the 'drug farm'.
