| | | I posted about this place earlier this summer, but I now have pictures (shitty pictures, mind you). The Starline factory was built in 1883 and made farm equipment. The building was in huge disrepair until about ten years ago when a resident of the town bought it and began renovations. Now parts of it are used as art studios and event halls. What I liked about this explore is that I get permission to explore, so if I do run into workers, I smile and wave. 1. This is an event hall. When taken, my boyfriend was using it as a recording studio, and the night before it was used for an art show.
2. It's a long building.
3. Crates of glass bottles ERRYWHERE
4. This reminds me of Aladin.
5. dated checks
6. DEAD CAT
7. colorful papers on the third floor
8. is it such a big deal to ask for a little privacy?
9. third floor organ!
So yeah, the fact that it's being renovated and has electricity/workers makes it less fun for me. More like a tour. Something awesome that happened was that as we were exiting to get dinner, this guy pulled up next to us and told us "I take pictures of abandoned buildings and I was wondering if you know of any abandoned places in the area I could go to." ...ACTUALLY, sir...

| | | whats up with all the bottles? and looks like mold in #7 thanks for sharing!
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |
