| | A quick trip through your region... < on 7/25/2012 3:17 PM >
| | | While passing through your neck of the map, I had the opportunity to stop off at a few of your awesome locations across three states. I can honestly say you have some prime real estate for exploring unlike anything in PSW and some fantastic explorers that I met along the way. If only I had more time to see all it has to offer but here is a quick look at what I saw... 1. Wisconsin - Drink 'em if you got 'em
2. Church of Beer?
3. Indiana roadside Dining

11. Somewhere in the Middle... anyone know what this place was used for? I haven't been very successful in figuring it out...

Thanks for looking... and p.s. Be grateful for Cheese Conies and White Castle... all we get out here is packets of seasoning and boxes of burgers from the freezer section at the grocery!

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

#11 was the Harding-Jones paper company mill. Various groups have run haunted houses in the building and it has been on one of the "Paranormal" TV shows. Did you see the old Eric canal locks just north of it while you were in town?

Thanks for the info... I must say, it was pretty welcoming for a "Paranormal" location. I wouldn't have guessed paper mill by the looks of it. I didn't see said locks location but I only drove through town to look at the old amusement park... which didn't end up amusing me :o( So I hadn't done that much research on that area and just happen to drive down that road when I had to stop and pick my jaw up off the pavement from that building.

Gold Star? Cookie? jk I'd love to see more posts on some of them as I was a little pressed for time on this trip so I didn't explore them they way they deserved.
