|  | | | Just thought I'd let you guys know that the Ogden CP rail yard in Calgary is almost completely shut down. Most of the yard has been abandoned, lots of old buildings and machinery dating as far back as the early 1920's has been left to rot before demolition begins next year. Best of all security is next to 0. There are old rail cars as well still sitting on the tracks, rumor has it that there is even an old steam engine sitting in a shack on the western side of the yard.

I appreciate the form of photography I see on this website. I recently had the opportunity to visit this rail yard through a friend who worked there until a few days ago. I just thought I'd give you guys a heads up seeing how I'm physically unable to snoop around places thinking somebody else may want to check it out. No harm no foul and no reason to be a dick.
