| | UE Philadelphia Area-Newbie needs recommendations < on 7/17/2012 4:12 PM >
| | | Hi All-new to this UEing but have been interested for a while. Looking to go on an excursion this Saturday. Looking for a good starter location-safe but interesting. Suggestions?

| | | Been here for 3 months, and your only post is asking for locations. This is not going to end well. Handouts are frowned upon here. Better to try to meet up with some locals or go find some places on your own. Share your own experiences and build a reputation before trying to ask for locations.

| | | You're missing the point. It's very impolite and even frowned upon to ask for locations, even for seasoned veterans. Brind was right on the money, his post isn't condescending, and if that's you're response it looks like he hit the nail on the head. If you want to go exploring and find new locations, make a few local friends and go exploring with them. People are far more open to divulging locations to people they trust once they've met you. It covers everyone's ass that way, and you won't change that.

No need to be rude, man, especially to people who have been at this a lot longer than you have. You're definitely not going to get any help if you cop an attitude. There are a ton of explorers in Philly, so I suggest you seek some out and ask to tag along to a few places. Or you could probably just consult Google -- Philly is a huge city full of abandoned shit. And a lot of it isn't well-hidden at all.

This is a message board, where people reply to posts. It does not work like that.

As has been said earlier in this thread, Brind answered your post 100% correct. I recommend reading this thread for starters: http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=83700

That's pretty sad if you can't. Just like a few other cities around the us.

Yup. There's spots in a few cities, where its hard to find buildings that aren't abandoned.
