| | | ^Thank you for focusing so much on Worcester. I've always been obsessed with the place and imagining what it was once like...I didn't even realize that building was the nurse housing.

| | | couple of new ones this week...some purchases i am really happy about here. money well spent in my opinion! many believe the terrell state hospital in terrell, texas was originally built on the kirkbride plan. that structure was demolished in the early 1950s from what i can gather and finding images of it has proven to be difficult - and i have never seen a post card of it...until now! before this week i only had one terrell card - the one most every collector already has which is not of the entire campus and was produced after the kirk was demolished. i stumbled across this gem and my jaw literally dropped. pretty sad little poem huh?

rusk by polyurethanewheels photography danvers cards are hard to come by - and when they do show up online most sellers want a hefty chunk of change for them. they typically arent as expensive as pennhurst cards but i have seen them for upwards of $75. again - until this week i did not have a card from danvers. before this week i had never even seen this card so i was super stoked to get this for $15!!
danvers by polyurethanewheels photography and last but certainly not least - this is not a postcard nor is it even paper but i was damn happy to win this on ebay for a mere $13.50. from the mid 1960s and in perfect condition...
norristown by polyurethanewheels photography okay porc3laind0ll and HLG - start posting in this thread! i know you have been holding out on me!!

| | | Some of these are just so amazing! I love the hand painting... it just gives it all that more of an eeary quality to them. Maybe I should try my hand an hand painting a few of my own Urbex photos.

| | | Those checks are outrageous! My only document is from BSS...some kind of patient possession retrieval document. Not important enough to even grab and scan, just has a number of lines to write in names and items. Then the lazy department is printed at the bottom proceeded by respectfully.

| | | Awesome sauce thread here! I never thought anyone else actually collected these other then myself. I probably have close to 100 of them. Some dating back to the 1880's.
