| | | I live in the dayton area but if you are going to cincinnati check out Glencoe. Glencoe is a bunch of old apartments that are now abandon, the streets going through the neighborhood are still active, but you shouldn't need to go into the buildings. It is more of an outdoor place but defiantly one of my favorites, an artist painted all of the boarded up doors bright colors and any pictures turn out great.
As for Indianapolis, I would recommend Central State. An old mental asylum with an amazing history. I have been here multiple times, and there is talk about the city attempting to tear it down soon, so I would check it out. Last time I had been one building that I had been in before was either demolished or I couldn't see it from the construction they had in that area I cannot remember exactly. But there are still quite a few buildings such as power house, administration, patient housing, and a museum where I usually park and walk in I wouldn't suggest parking in the gates although you do occasionally see people walking through, and driving through.

| | | I can second on Glencoe. On the inside, it's a "seen one, seen 'em all" type deal, but on the outside it's a very unique place. Be wary of drifters that stay in the buildings (mostly the ones in the middle) and also the floors may seem solid in parts but generally are really sketchy and tend to crumble with no warning.

we will be in Detroit august 10th very early in the morning so we can pretty much match anyone's schedule for that day. thank you for the info guys anything is helpful! we are also interested in camping on some rooftops so if anyone would be kind enough to share in a pm it would be greatly appreciated! we have a general idea of where we are going in each city but local help is always better and you get to see the really interesting things.

| | | Wow I coincidentally Was at Glencoe today, the place listed in my last post on this thread. It has changed so much, graffiti everywhere, and overgrown with plant life because of summer. If it wasn't raining so much I would have gotten some good pictures, instead i have a few (not worth posting) phone pictures. I would recommend going, always changing, and If you go and get some pictures please post link on this tread (any place for that matter). Just for that fun of it, if you go to glencoe see if you can locate the "primo" sticker located on one of the buildings. If you can please post haha, kinda like an easter egg.
