Not to mention I don't know thentelevison schedule on the east coast, so I don't know if it's on in that area. It's on in this area now.

| | | | Just got my first opportunity to go through a Kirkbride in Cherokee Iowa. it is still in full use, except a couple of buildings. My daughter will be doing a clinical rotation there this summer. We got a private tour and pretty free reign to photograph the site and buildings. Not to much inside areas with patients obviously but a ton of things behind the scenes and of their makeshift museum they operate.
I will be doing a post in a week or so but lots to do on processing and writing first!

rip off? are you high? this place is amazing - historic - beautiful and anything but boring. would you prefer more graffiti and piles of fecal matter and urine? or perhaps you would rather the look a place has after shitbag scrappers fuck the whole place up? or did you just not see enough ORBZ for your purposes?
weston is a treasure and the efforts made to preserve this place should be followed by other property owners rather than torn down in the name of 'progress'
