Half-completed MD tuberculosis sanitarium explore

Unfortunately, we were quickly losing daylight (in addition to the solar eclipse) and the park police had begun to make their presence known, so we decided to leave the other half of the campus unexplored until this coming weekend.

Unfortunately, scrappers and taggers have made this location far less intriguing. There's always next time, right?

I wanted better quality photos, but my camera was unfortunately left behind at the hotel.

My first glimpse of things I MUST climb, but was denied.

Really neat location! Was that hallway filled with sand or what? Looked cool. Thanks for sharing!

That was the ceiling tiles that had disintegrated over the years. This particular facility has been shut down since 1981.

Nothing quite so exciting. My cohort never lets me climb anything fun. That was from the window of another wing.

I like the old projector in #7. Haven't found one myself, guess I haven't gone through the place enough.

It's in the room with the stage. Tiny, tiny little door.

We didn't even see the park police until we bumbled up to their trailer/station house. And if they were there they either didn't notice us or figured two dorks with cameras weren't deemed sufficient threat to unleash the hounds.
