So I hit up another drain tonight. Solo. Basic RCB with lots of sand, some deep water, a big ass turtle, catfish and crawfish. Gash to the head. Some .410 shotgun rounds. It was interesting.

1) From the inside looking out

2) So it begins..

3) Not sure what this is

4) Part of the last thing

5) Sealed up manhole

6) bitches

7) DONT GO FURT (HER) I just didn't get it all

8) A step

9) A frog or toad?

10) Time to get it wet!

11) Ripples

12) Guessing old forms and a cockroach

13) Crawfish

14) Catfish (towards top of photo)

15) Turtle

16) Turtle again

17) Some .410 rounds and a blade

18) Reduces in width

19) Interesting way to reduce an inlet

20) Here it changes

21) Sandy.. always fun

22) Manhole photo for good measure

23) Found this to be beautiful

24) This is where I ended it. Spiders are no bueno

A ton more on my FlickR.

Thank you for viewing!

Thanks for the information all. And a torch would take care of the damn spiders. The turtle all together was about 2 feet long, if my drunken memory serves me right. I have never seen one so big. And yeah, I do need to be taught the difference between frogs and toads.. I told you I didn't have a clue. lol.

I always wondered about the wildlife down the drains.... My mom flushed a live sucker fish down the toilet when I was 4 and I'm convinced that he became some super mutant living down there - thank for sharing, now I know it's possible. #23 is a really interesting shot!

Is this a California drain? It looks exactly like the drains I remember spending so much time in growing up in Cali. Damn I miss those days!!!

I like #8 a lot. The way it's focused I guess.

I LOLed at 19. You're right about that!

#23 is neat.

All in all a great set! Very nostalgic for me!

Glad you guys explore the drains, I'm too chicken, especially if I ran into a big snapping turtle!

Texas drain. I wish it was a Cali drain. But my draining in Cali is limited. Did a few small drains before coming here. Before that, just some new drains, but I was being paid. Thank you for the kind comments!

Drains aren't too bad. This one I did solo at night, which always adds to the fun. After finding out more about that turtle from fellow members, I'm glad I didn't mess with it. Especially at damn near crotch level. I know I don't want kids, but damn, not this way. Thank you for your comments!
