Really neat house! Any history on it? Like when it was abandoned? How old it is? Also what is that in photo #15? Thanks for sharing!

Why do people keep posting low quality stuff like this?

Most of your pictures are unbearable to look at due to the smudge on the lens (or whatever that is, coke bottle?), lack subject matter or composition, or just plain not interesting.

Wait, I think this thread belongs with this one, http://www.uer.ca/...urrpage=1&pp#post0

I think we now have a third entry in Best Recent Threads Contest. This now joins the ranks of Weedy Car and Six Flags Mall. I hope we can keep this epicness up.

Rude, everybody. This is an exploring forum, not a photography forum. These shots are certainly not gallery-worthy, but OP is at least participating. I've explored many an old farmhouse like this- it's legit, even if it's not super exciting.

Just remember back when you were starting out and have a little empathy.

Granted, what Avius said is true. But you also need to clean your lens off or stop using whatever filter that is.

When I started out, I did enough reading in different boards to realize how posting pictures like this would be accepted. And I wouldn't do it.

I'll go so far as to say that I wouldn't do it anywhere, not on here, not on facebook.

I just got back from an epic trip, but a lot of the pics didn't turn out so well. I'm not going to post them "just cuz". Where then, do you draw the line and say "these are so bad they aren't worth posting"?

I'll give him props for the explore, and for having his pics set into the thread instead of those damn pop-up pics. He can be sure if he does it like this again the feedback is going to be much worse all around.

I agree that yours is the best approach, but it can be really hard to break into this community if you don't have a decent camera. I was lucky enough when I started out that I at least had a middle-of-the-line point-and-shoot, and even then, I'm afraid to say that this picture was my first post (and it was in a pop-up album!):
http://www.uer.ca/...Auditorium0950.jpg

If all someone can afford is a crappy cell phone camera, and they don't have any photography experience, then they basically have the choice to submit the pics they have, or not post anything.

I'm not saying everybody should lie and be like, "OH WOW! Great shots!", but maybe offer some constructive criticism instead of just being mean.

But then again, I guess this is the internet...

Are there any descriptions to the pictures?
I mean why do you number them and give no description?

I might now have the greatest pictures, but even my cheapest camera makes better pictures.

And I actually started a post and asked about this stuff.

bgrdjeep......that place is pretty far out there. How did you find it? Can't believe I found it on Google map. LOL

Don't pay attention to all the critics. Blah Blah Blah gotta be something more important to cry about then the clarity of your pics.

Sometimes you have to work with what you got. At least your out there getting it done.

ROCKS? I don't see no stinkin ROCKS!
