| | | The penis method does work, I call it chud fishing. A lot of times the chuds will just open the lid for you when they see what your werkin with. Prying them up from the side seems like the logical method but it's the harder way to go. A hammer doesn't give you the right leverage, and a crowbar is the quintessential bad guy tool. Plus you'll often have to get your fingers into the mix which is not ideal. I used this method until a master of the craft set me strait: go for the holes. The best tools I have found are either a pick hammer, or a cats paw. They're concealable, give you some kind of magic two way leverage, and allow you to pull out at a moments notice. I can see Mario/stormys method working well, but then you have to worry about getting your rod into and out of the hole, and also making abortion a little trickier.

| | | What about a tire iron? A lot of our manholes where I'm at are setup the same way... Insert a couple inches in, apply moderate up or down force to crack the lid, and then let a side drop in the hole a little, and drag out.

| | | There is a ton of shit to explore in Mankato before popping caps is even necessary. Follow the river, you'll find the outfalls. Follow it north, out of town, and you'll find more.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

I've done quite a bit of that already actually, there's a lot of stuff out towards farm country near Rapidan as well. [last edit 4/9/2012 8:28 PM by HotSoup - edited 1 times]
