Wow, with you two there for a sense of scale, I can imagine the first graffiti-ers making a mess of their pants for the sheer scale of the canvas they discovered!

Nice explore!

Hey... I know that place I think. Between the abandoned Mos Eisley neighborhood and the Mariana trench village.

It's like Washington Packing all over again. I love it. B&C I love, love, love your couple exploring shots, but you guys already know that. Your composition and capture of the art is really good (and I can't wait to see the trend of animated shots explode) and lots of fun and that's so rad.

-It can't always be about creepy morgues and sad sad hallways.

Dr Jones... (DrRJones is too damn formal)
I don't care that it was a cell phone, or that it was "busted", your shots are killer. I like your composition and the fact that the subject of every one of your shots has interest. Maybe with a smartphone you could process the shots (in camera, er, I mean, phone) to get rid of exposure blowout and believe it or not, they make phone mounts for tripods. I use a few cameras to capture the past and document history. I love rockin my phone while exploring-

http://www.flickr....2/with/6321580784/

But these are all bullshit technical details -What I like most of all, about your shots, is that through this set you put up, besides what ever artistic message you're presenting to your audience, as a viewer I walk away with the idea that, it's not the camera, it's the artist and it might just be more about the spirit of exploring vs photography and that is awesomesauce.

I love graffiti in it's proper place, and by that I mean the medium it's presented in. A dirty urban setting like a warehouse is perfect for this.

Awesome photos!

Question: why are the dozens of abandoned spray-paint cans all missing the plastic push nozzle things??

Because they use their own custom spray nozzles (like different width brushes, etc) and then remove them to re-use them later.

Oh geeze! That then really makes the one piece of graffiti where the artist bemoans poverty amusing to me.

The hell you say... You just shut your mouth. It's ALL about morgue and creepy hallways!

I can contribute some photos from that first location. I visited those warehouses a couple of months ago. There isn't much to see apart from the graffiti but it's a bit like a gallery experience in there if you can appreciate some of the better stuff.
