And so it is with r/atheism. R/atheism is very large, and so it is jam packed with assholes. And yet! I continue to read it every day. I read it even though I usually learn nothing new from it and it only serves to create and foster inside me an intense hatred of my fellow atheists.
Two days ago, 15-year old Redditor Lunam posted a thread called “What My Super Religious Mother Got Me For Christmas“, in which she linked to a photo of herself holding Carl Sagan’s Demon-haunted World:

Sadly this happens with everything. Sadly a lot of young girls do it to themselves. When they have shows like anything on MTV and vh1 and CW, that only feature overly sexualized women it's not that surprising. It's a sad world we live in now.

Perhaps you're just incredibly stupid. If you could understand anything, you would have realized that my post was lamenting the fact that women are objectified in all fields due to the fact that all tv does is objectify them and a lot of young people help allow the degradation to continue by living a life where they are objectified. My post was nothing against the young woman, but against society for allowing the type of behavior that those chauvinist pigs so very much love.

If you were to think that all this could boil down to television and societal pressure, you have much to learn about humanity. Even in your languaging does it show just how un-evolved you are. "society for allowing". This tells me you think it is societies place to tell people what they can and cannot do. Even if you are not conscious of this, your Freudian slip is showing(and this is meant both ways, one of your unconscious prejudices, and two that Freud and to a much larger extent his daughter Anna, thought they could cure mental illness through social pressure).
What particular "behavior" are you talking about? We could all come up with different ideas of what that word is pointing to.
As I said before, you do a piss poor job of communicating. I would like to add that the assumptions you make are juvenile. Like as in I was dealing with what you are talking about when I was in high school. I have hence grown up and can see that the life of this matter is extraordinarily complex and not easy to pin down. The attempt at which you made to make sense of it, not only missed the mark, but allowed you to put your foot in your mouth. By "it" I mean the links between human sexuality, society, culture, mental illness, and the internet.
I highly recommend you take a step away from this thread, reevaluate your opinions, and take a firm look at what I'm pointing to. You don't have to agree, but if you don't challenge you opinions you will continue to be reactionary and infantile.

Maybe you should read that advice yourself. I'm not exactly sure where your vitriol against MPB is coming from here, but it certainly fits the reactionary and infantile description.
And besides, pretty much society's only purpose is to tell people what they can and cannot do. That's what it is for. Of course, a fair bit of the time it causes the crazys, but that's why we have the internet... so that we can get rid of our crazys by attacking young girls.
