A good friend of mine has just had her 2nd baby girl in 2 years. I want to get her a nice gift, but I know she has all the usual things. More clothes, blankets, and toys than she knows what to do with. She's got all the baby necessities and just had a diaper and wipe shower. She's got it all. So I have no idea what to get. The baby's name is Charlotte, they are very farm oriented people, and the baby's room is purple and black. Any ideas?

Maybe something the little girls could get a ride on. "Little red wagon" or snow saucer that mom/dad could give them a ride around the yard on. (it is winter) Maybe a backyard see-saw?

We have a family tradition of giving sterling silver baby cups, little mugs really. Engrave with from you to the child, a date, and voila. Long lasting and out of the ordinary.
I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread. | |
The monogrammed, silver cups sound good. A non-standard plushie like Tux (pictured below) might be good. I know "farm oriented", but hey, I live on a farm and I'm computer wonk.
