Hello interweb people, I'm a new guy by the name Nightsquirrel, living in the Las Vegas, NV area. I'm new to the whole UE concept and have never heard of it till recently. before now, I was an avid gamer, rock climber/hiker, but after a while its started to get pretty stale, and I guess I'm trying to get something to replace my gaming addiction. I just recently moved down here from Reno 2 years ago for work, and found out about all these underground storm drains out here, and am wanting to make my start over there. I am pleased to have found this site, and hope I can make a future home here.

When in doubt, whip it out

Howdy there fellow urbexers, especially those in PNW region. I'm somewhat new at this forum, been reading the threads for about 3-4 months but finally got around on registering last week. Am not new to urban exploration scene though. I'm originally from Wisconsin, have been almost everywhere in US, am currently located in Seattle about 7 years ago.

My first urbex experience was actually back in middle school in early 90s, there was an abandoned/long neglected industrial property next to sheet-metal factory near Milwaukee. My experience has bloomed into exploring the old Pabst Brewery especially along with abandoned church in cementary and abandoned industrial buildings from high school, into my college years.

My urbex interest finally were revived 3-4 years ago as my work schedule became more friendlier. Expressing through the means of photography and art is a hobby of mine. I have explored several abandoned and too amazing places around Washington with my partner, 2 weeks ago we stumbled onto a memoir of Kevin Frankland which is really beautiful and touching- like seeing beauty through the decay. It was a weird coindence of stumbling into the memoir of a person you've been reading abt for few months. Kind like am destined to find it.

I look forward sharing and reading all about our urban exploration experiences and meet ya'll in the near future.

Hey everyone, my name is Bobby. From the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. Still somewhat new to urban exploring, but I'm always on the lookout for new spots to check out when I'm out driving around. I'm a college student currently working on my general education/transfer program so I can pursue a degree in engineering. I'm also studying photography just so I can advance and develop for personal use. Like I said, I'm still somewhat new to urban exploring and hope to meet new people that I can have as exploring buddies in the area.

Hey, I'm Mark from Bucks County, PA.

My friends and I have been urban exploring/legend tripping for a good few years now, but we wanted to try to hook up with folks in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area who would want to swap good locations/talk too long about horror movies.

PM me if you're a wicked motherfucker and want to traipse around the local woods or cemeteries.

Hey all, thought I'd stop lurking and say hi.

Clinton, from the Boston metro area. Been around to a couple other places—Portland, Montreal, New York for urban exploration but I'm looking to see what's out there in my area.

I do take photos! You can see a few of them here. Would love to meet up with some like-minded folk to traipse through rough landscapes and overlooked buildings.

Ello ello! I'm C and I'm in central Indiana. I am brand-spanking-new to UE, but I've always had a bit of interest in it. I didn't know how to begin on my own.

Happy to say that, as of yesterday, I have officially explored two locations! Got a few good pictures as well!

Hello everyone,

I'm Agamen (obviously it's a nickname), I'm 23 years old, from Paris.

I'm part of the well-known cataphilie community. I spend down there most of my free time and this is much of my urbex experience.
I've also visited bridges and the rooftops of some railway stations, all of them in Paris too.

I'm joining you here because I'll be coming in the US in April, for 5 months. I'll begin by Seattle, and I'll be moving after that but I don't know where exactly yet.

I hope to meet some people that could introduce me to the UE in the US. I assume that the rules here are as strict as in Paris, and that you do not like to tell everything to anyone, but I hope that I'll be able to convince you that I'm a serious guy And also, I'm very good at cooking crepes

Welcome Agamen. Those crepes have to be better than my waffles, one could patch a roof with them. There's going to be a Seattle meetup, http://www.uer.ca/...nt.asp?eventid=757 . I can't make it, but I'll bet you'd enjoy it.

Welcome Agamen!

I'm sure you'll love exploring in Seattle and the US in general.
And I promise you, we have more than just dubious skull pictures on this forum

Hey everybody, I'm Spoon. I'm a friend of JennyUE and we started getting interested in this recently. I want to get more active and do more exploring, and this seems like the place to be. I look forward to meeting some new people here.

Hello everyone, to keep my anonymity, my name is Schneaker ;) I currently live in Stockholm. Moved here three years ago from an old industrial city, where almost every factory closed down more than 20 years ago. My closest neighbour was in fact an old sanitized silo, where me and my friends played "office", and "the room where the generals sit and yell in walkie talkies who to bomb".
I found this page when I met a couple of explorers in an inner city tunnel in Stockholm who tipped me about this website (probably because they felt sorry for me because I was alone, buhu).
I'm really excited as a new member, and already admire the places you guys have previously been to, and I hope I will see some of them live sometime!
Hope I will be a contributor of good spirit and awesome info here

Hello everyone, I'm formaldehyde, or formal, or form. I'm currently living in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania near Temple U's campus.

Abandoned or otherwise neglected places have "called to me" as far back as I can remember. After a few years of having internet access it occurred to me that there must be some kind of list of abandoned structures, because I knew I wasn't the only one interested. That was when I originally discovered this great, rich resource, but I was disappointed to find no entries around me (I used to live in one of the small suburbs outside the city). I entered my first abandonment after years of eyeing it up - a small group of dilapidated historic homes that I noticed when we would leave town - and I was in love. I didn't leave my sense of exploration when I moved into the city almost two years ago, and while going about my daily tasks I try to remember potentially abandoned buildings that catch my attention.

A friend and I explored a local abandonment in Philadelphia last Monday, and the feelings came rushing back. I rediscovered this resource among some scarce others, and so here I am. I love music, art, science, and technology, primarily Looking to meet up or chat!

Hi there, I'm Sarah and I've recently moved to the HRM. There are a lot of cool places to explore in the area and this site seems like such a great resource for anyone interested in checking them out!

Hey - was checking out the FAQ and figured I would introduce myself. I've been exploring for about five years now - I haven't ever explored sewers or abandoned factories or anything, but hey there's a first for everything right? I've mainly checked out abandoned houses and abandoned construction projects.

Hey!!

My name is Amelinda Everett and I'll start off by saying how much I adore photography, and Urban Exploring.
I'm from Ottawa, Ontario near Nepean.
I honestly have been doing this for some time now but only seriously getting into taking photographs of places I explore recently. (Now that I have a camera again haha)
I have nothing but respect for old abandoned structures, and the property that they sit on.
I am very excited to be apart of this site, show you all my photography. Feel free to add me on here.. I am more then happy to chat and to share information on places I've discovered!!
