Posted by diosdelcaos I know there are lots of places around to explore, and I'm anxious, but also afraid of getting arrested (I have a phobia of prison after watching Bronson, so I tend to err on the side of extreme caution.)
|
You'll outgrow that fear. LMPD doesn't really like to bother with arresting when it's more trouble than it's worth

Hello! One of my friends suggested this site to me a number of years ago and I never got around to looking into it until recently. I thought I would stop in and introduce myself, I'm excited to get back into UE and can't wait to use the resources here.

Hi, my names Ivan and after spending a fair amount of time on /r/urbanexploration I decided it was high time for me to join your community. I'm currently a running start student in Bellingham, WA, and I look forward to collaborating with fellow urban explorers. If you're from the Bellingham area feel free to PM me, maybe we could put a group together and share some locations with one another.

Hey Everyone! My name is Ashley and I'm from Plattsburgh, New York (approximately one hour south of Montreal).I am a painting student and play roller derby, so I use my away bouts as an excuse to stay over night and explore the following day. I have been exploring for two years now with two other close friends, I figured it was time to meet some more people to explore with. I hope to get to know some of you, and hopefully explore with some of you as well.1.

Hi there, for as long as I can remember I've been interested in abandoned buildings. When I was young, my dad & I used to go for walks in the woods, & look for signs of old houses. Next year I'll be taking off with my fiance & living in a van, traveling around Canada. I'm hoping to find a lot of awesome abandoned houses & share photos

MMMmmmmmmmmmm fresh meat!!
I mean...um, welcome to UER. Of course.
Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =) |

Yes, yes I do! People never fail to let me influence them. It's hilarious! Oh, and bring on the spankings! (this would be slightly less awkward if I didn't actually know you, I can't even really picture this in my head, lol)

Hi, I'm a twenty year old college student that lives near Knoxville, TN. I guess I've technically been doing UE since I first snuck into an abandoned barn when I was 9. The mix of seeing cool new places and the thrill of breaking the rules by being there has always been one of my faveorite activities. I just found out that this is a widespread thing and would love to go exploring with people whenever I get a chance. I look forward to meeting some cool new people exploring and posting my pics of the abandoned and semi-abandoned places that I have explored. Look forward to getting to know y'all!

Hi. I'm 23. On my birthday, a friend and I impulsively decided to climb the Brooklyn Bridge. I liked it and now I want more. I moved to NYC in July and I'm only just discovering the tip of the iceberg of what there is to explore. I'm open-minded and I'd love to start exploring with new people. As zen as exploring alone can be, sometimes in those dark walled-up basements, it's nice to have a friend.

Hey all, I'm Javier and am new to UE all together. I love the concept and just went on our first mission this past Friday. I have a group of 5 (including me) that plans to go out often to new sites around this area.

Glad to have you join the site! One thing I recommend is, don't call your explores missions, the locals don't like it. This is more along the lines of a mission
Have an awesome time on the site!

Got it, drop the word "mission". haha
