If theres one thing ive learned about cars that dont have any potential, is to leave them alone and completely stock. Stop and replace everything to stock form while you are ahead and not broke $.

unless it's a dragster rocking a powerglide, TH400, C6 or A727 with a manual valve body, automatics are just... tragic. I don't care what funky switches and paddles are moving it around.

if you wanted a manual, why didn't you shop around for a manual? Doesn't the 2 come with a 5speed?

By the way, Skelly still hasn't recovered from the ecstatic funk of seeing someone trying to autox a Caravan!

the VW dsg gearbox isnt THAT bad for a non stick shift gear box, especially with a DSG software on it

but still, there is no replacement for 3 pedals on the floor and 4+ gears in the console.

they didnt have any MT 2's for weeks =[ and i need a new car for school

they said they are selling more and more AT's and getting less and less MT's

and the thing about triptonic and paddles is its still automatic b/c its still suggesting the computer shift.

only a manual is a manual.

but yeah for the commute/rush hour automagic will work =]

It's not bad at all, up/down shifts are instantaneous. If you're not familiar with the way it works, it feels very strange at first (most people who buy a new car here with the DSG come back and think there's something wrong)

I meant a shift kit which changes the behavior and performance of the tranny, not flappy paddles.

the one on the Equus was amazing. but that was the only car ive ever driven that had that so im a lil biased.
