I love the style of sport(ish) cars from the 80's. Nissan was doing it correctly in the 80's.

http://ontario.kij...W0QQAdIdZ547664390 - hmmm

http://ontario.kij...W0QQAdIdZ558465058 - the first vehicle I ever owned was one of these.

http://ontario.kij...W0QQAdIdZ553457695 - not a terrible price

http://ontario.kij...W0QQAdIdZ545911449 - That's not a '63, it's a '68 with '63 fenders and bumpers.

http://ontario.kij...W0QQAdIdZ548410576 - such a sexy car. Although they sorta drive like a truck.

2.6L? nooooo thank you.

that's a clean little Datsun.

i still lust after a 510 coupe

most people wouldn't know the difference... a beetle is a beetle

what they forgot to list in the bad on that Toyota... "it's had the shit beat out of it and now it needs work that I don't have the intelligence or money to perform so now I am going to try and sell my beat to shit Toyota for a mint" That sums up that ad precisely methinks. And yes, Bandi, I do like those cars too.

#1 Bad looking, 4 banger carbed North american auto from the early 80's? Sloooooow
If a car is going to be slow it needs to be stylish.(Or incredibly cheap)

#2 Lovely.

#3 It needs a - Everything

#5 Nice! More of that 80's import style

Ah the 301. I think the bottom end was made using old aluminum foil.

Ah the old Pontiac 301... it was a dog, but a tough old dog... My friend Lou had one in a 79 LeSabre coupe. The body went to hell so he yanked the engine and put it in a 78 LeSabre sedan. He overheated the engine so badly, it locked up on the interstate. No problem. it cooled, he broke it free and had a couple of gaskets changed. It went to the next owner who beat it mercilessly and eventually broke the frame in the car... the engine ended up in an 83 Firebird where it still resides to the day...

...in a salvage yard.

as for that Vette, there was nothing collectible about that body except maybe the pace car replicas and even they don't command big dollars.

I had one in a Regal coupe I used for dirt track racing. Any time you took it above 4k you'd bend every pushrod the thing had. The 305 I ran the year after worked MUCH better.

My uncle asked if I wanted his old 82 vette that had all sorts of issues. The answer was no lol. I wasnt going to fly across the country, fix the brake system, and then hope the thing made it back to CO from CT.
